Keep reading to discover my top five apple orchards and pumpkin patches that you must visit this fall. Grab your favorite fall drink and enjoy all that autumn in Pittsburgh has to offer!

Soergel Orchards

First up on the list is Soergel Orchards! Their “Pick Your Own Apples” begins Saturday, September 17th from 10 am - 5 pm. Each weekend they also host their Fall Festival that runs through to October 30th, so you have plenty of time to get your fall fix in. Not only can you pick your own delicious apples, but they also offer games and activities, tractor rides, delicious food, and you can pick your own pumpkins. If you’re looking for something to do with the family on a Friday night, starting on September 30th they will be offering their hayrides again, where they will be serving tasty foods and live music as well. The best part? It’s free to attend their fall festival! You’ll definitely want to visit Soergel Orchards this fall.

Shenot’s Farm & Market

Shenot’s Farm & Market is one of my favorites. Their beautiful and large pumpkin patch opens on September 24th through October 30th and will be open seven days a week from 10 am - 5 pm. On weekends they run hayrides to the pumpkin patch for only $5 a person, making it even more full of fall fun. The farm also features a scenic walking trail to the patch that’s made vibrant during autumn when the leaves begin to change. Not only do they have delicious and fresh food at their market, but they host food trucks every weekend for you to enjoy. Follow them on social to keep up on all their fall activities!

Trax Farms

Trax Farms has it all! Visit their pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin or two, navigate through their 3-acre corn maze, hop on their hayride, and say hello to their farm animals. If you’re interested in their fall festival hayrides they’re available every Saturday and Sunday starting September 24th through October 23rd, purchase tickets here. Check out their local produce and honey, and don’t forget to pick up some of their delicious cider. The fall festivities are endless at Trax Farms.

Triple B Farms

Gala, Honey Crisp, Fuji, oh my! The apple picking at Triple B Farms is one of the best in the area with so many different varieties,  you’ll be making homemade apple pie and cider all season long. You can also pick your own flowers to create beautiful autumn bouquets and starting Saturday, September 17th their fall season starts when they open up their beautiful pumpkin patch for all your pumpkin picking needs. Make sure to check out their fall fun featuring hayrides, a corn maze, farm animals, activities for all ages, and more! Triple B Farms is fun for the whole family.

The Spring House

Last but certainly not least is The Spring House! Now through November 1st, you can book weekend pumpkin patch hayrides featuring a tractor-drawn hayride to their charming farm. Pick your own pumpkins, enjoy the corn maze or the kiddie corn maze, fun slides, and more. They also feature delicious fall platters perfect for snacking on while watching the game on Sundays. The Spring House is a must-see this fall!
